With numerous local, regional, and state champion awards under our belt, we pride ourselves on being one of the biggest and best honey producers in Berkeley County, WV. With honey production being our #1 focus as beekeepers, we strive to isolate several distinct varieties of honey through the year to give our customers all of the unique flavors that the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia has to offer. To accomplish this, we are careful to observe the bloom cycles of the trees and plants and extract the honey before the next major bloom occurs. For example, the ‘Autumn Olive’ bush blooms in late April. By extracting our honey boxes (called ‘Supers’) in mid-May, we can generally separate the ‘Autumn Olive’ honey from the ‘Black Locust’ honey that we harvest by late-May.

We extract our honey via a large centrifuge that spins the honey out of the wax frames at high-speed. The honey is then run through a strainer to remove wax particles and then bottled. Every single bottle of honey that we produce is hand-bottled and labeled to the highest of standards.

In addition to just offering pure, raw honey, we also specialize in whipped honey varieties and infused honey varieties. Whipped honey is finely crystalized honey that has a butter-like consistency. We offer pure whipped honey as well as several varieties that contain additions to the honey to create unique flavors. Infused honey is still in liquid form and contains things like hot peppers or vanilla bean.
